DOW All-Time Record Threatened

Just something to note and watch--we're ready to make some history here. The DOW is very close to it's all-time high levels.

At this time (9-26-06) the DOW is sitting at 11,654 (with about 45 minutes left before the close). Looking at some important benchmarks:

The Dow's six-year closing high rests at 11,642 - if we stay put, we'll break that today.

Its absolute six-year high rests at 11,670 - certainly well within our sights and so far today we were up to 11,660...so that was threatened today.

Its all-time closing high rests at 11,722.
Its all-time high rests at 11,750.

Both of those are targets.
